How to Beat a Bad Hair Day
There is nothing worse than waking up, ready to tackle the day and then realizing your hair has gone crazy overnight. Bad hair days happen
even to the best (and most conditioned) of girls so here are a
couple suggestions from SalonCapri’s owner and lead stylist, Nick Penna Jr., to help tackle some of the trickiest tress disasters. First of all, stay calm.
It can be pretty worrisome when you already have a hair dilemma before that first cup of coffee, but take a deep breath; you have tons of options to take your hair from wacky to wow. Nick suggests a classic ponytail to cure your bad day blues. Try updating the look by wrapping a small section of hair around the elastic (once wrapped all of the way around, secure the end under the pony with a bobby pin) or try the super chic (and easy) side-swept twisted pony!

Another way to distract from a bad hair day is to use a fun accessory! For example, try wrapping a piece of thin gold rope or wire around the base of a coiled chignon or group of twists that are pinned in the back of the head. Or, add a little glamour to a mundane messy top knot by attaching a crystal brooch or embellished hairclip at the back. Instant upgrade!

Bad hair days happen to good people, but now you’re prepared to face the worst of them, head on!
